WALKERS
We’re blessed with many beautiful footpaths and bridleways in the immediate farm and parkland surrounding the pub and we’d love you to enjoy it too. If you want to work up an appetite before visiting us, why not download one of the circular walks below and get exploring? Please be respectful to the surrounds and landowners by keeping any dogs under control, use the way-finders to keep to marked footpaths and close all gates behind you. Not got the right clodhoppers? We have wellies and ordnance survey maps we’ll be happy to lend you at the pub. On your return, hang your wellies up on one of our racks and then ask for a pair of complimentary fluffy socks/sock slippers, which you can pad around in whilst you’re with us! Nothing like toasty tootsies!

STAYING OVER
If your visit is part of a stop-over and you have a little more time to enjoy all that Oxfordshire has to serve up, The Muddy Duck is very happy to recommend the lovely B&B at Manor Farm – like us, it’s located on Main St, so a mere waddle from the pub itself. THE LAST WORD
DOGS
We owners are all avid dog lovers, but unfortunately we have to reluctantly embrace Britain’s arguably OTT H&S culture and sadly cannot welcome our faithful, four legged friends inside the restaurant or on the dining terrace. However, we are very happy to welcome well behaved mutts in the pub, beer garden and copse area year round, but we ask that they are kept on a lead at all times please. You’ll find a water bowl and a free treats dispenser on the wall of the beer garden.
CHILDREN
Our pub is traditional and so are our values. Since The Muddy Duck is a family affair we would like to see that extended to our customers and love welcoming a full family contingent! Children that don’t enjoy swinging from the light fittings and can sit at the table and enjoy a meal with adults are very welcome in our restaurant. Warning: any sprogs left unattended may be utilised as pot washers!
